My name is Leona and I am a nature loving Forest Bathing Guide, EcoNIDRA Teacher and a Skogluft Indoor Nature Consultant. I have been working in wellness since 2008 and now work in partnership with nature to offer programs for deep relaxation and transformation.
I grew up spending much of my time in nature and to this day that is where I feel the most 'at home.' When I was 12, my family escaped from the former Czechoslovakia and we spent 5 months in a refugee camp in Austria. It could have been devastating, knowing that your childhood home is gone and not knowing anything about your future. Because each family had a tiny single room, we were outside from morning to night with beautiful nature all around. So what I remember is a wonderful time of my life spent with my family and new friends from many countries - all in a major transition and all supported by nature. We continued to spend a lot of our time outdoors as our family settled in the US and enjoyed camping, hiking, and exploring. Throughout my college years, nature continued to be an important part of my life and I felt I was a part of nature. Then came a few decades of working inside and most of the time cut off from nature. I felt that something was missing but I didn't know what it was. I am so grateful that I have found my way back to nature and as a result have been experiencing many amazing benefits. It is now my mission to help others reconnect with a focus on deep relaxation and transformation.

Nature Connections Out There:
Slowing down and spending time in nature is scientifically proven to be good for our health and wellbeing. One way to nurture your nature connection is to take a forest bathing walk. It's a chance to step away from the busyness of our day to day lives and connect with our senses, ourselves and nature.
Guided forest bathing walks are around 3 hours long in groups or one to one.

By bringing nature inside, where we spend many hours of our days, we can create calmer, happier and healthier spaces - resulting in improved wellbeing and productivity.
As a Skogluft Indoor Nature Consultant I can work with you to bring nature inside your spaces for wellbeing, relaxation and transformation.
Nature Connections Within:
Where Yoga Nidra meets nature connection, these deeply relaxing and rejuvinating sessions are a beautiful gift of self-care that you can enjoy in the privacy of your own home. They are great for improving sleep, lowering stress and helping us to access our natural healing state.
EcoNIDRA sessions are held online via Zoom. In-person sessions are also available for groups or one to one.
